• Offers psychiatry, psychiatric nursing, psychology, social work, counseling, education, rehabilitation, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.
• Services include assessment, crisis intervention, individual, family, marital, and group counseling, psychiatric services, information/referral and self-help, vocational services, respite care, home-based services, and referral for hospitalization.
• Accepts Medicaid, Medicare and some other insurance. They also treat people who don’t have insurance. Payment for services is based on your ability to pay, which is determined during your visit.
• If you have private insurance you may need to use one of your insurer’s providers before receiving services from the Riverwood Center. Please check with your insurance to see what behavioral or mental health services are covered and what copays or fees you may have. Depending on your insurance plan, there may be no cost.
